Welcome to MT-Blacklist v! Below you will configure the behavior of the MT-Blacklist plugin across your entire installation. If you have used MT-Blacklist in the past, it is vitally important that you read the section in the documentation entitled "What's new in MT-Blacklist v2" as this is not your old MT-Blacklist software.

With this switch, you can activate/deactivate MT-Blacklist for use across the entire installation. Note that in a shared or hosted environments (see Multi-group mode below), it is still subject to the individual configurations and hence may not be used by some blogs to scan incoming comments/trackbacks even when "Active".

In multi-blog environments where the blogs have different blacklist or configuration needs, you can enable Blacklist Groups support. If you don't plan on having different configurations or blacklists, you should leave this turned off.

If you like, MT-Blacklist can check periodically for updates to the plugin and news from the Comment Spam Clearinghouse. News updates will be displayed in a newsbox in the MT-Blacklist interface. If a plugin update is available, a note will be displayed on each MT-Blacklist page.

In checking for updates, no information will be sent other than your plugin version and your server's IP address (which is required in any internet transaction).

Below, you can designate other authors in your installation as MT-Blacklist administrators. These are authors who can change any of the options listed on this page (including, most importantly, your administration status).
